I have been doing hair for 45 years the last 20 years I have owned M Salon.
I closed the salon permanently on November 1, 2023. The phone number no longer belongs to me. Anyone that would still like to reach me may email me at malonaspen@gmail.com.
Ironically, the very evening I locked the door, I received a text from a dear client that told me about an article in the newest Modern Luxury Aspen magazine – check it out. M Salon was at the top of the list!
I had no idea that this was in the works. Upon reading it, it just made me proud.
Thanks for the accolades, it means a lot, closed or not.
Next step is leaving Aspen for warmer weather.

At M Salon we are passionate about creating a great look for our guests using the highest quality hair color, natural extensions and keratin treatments. We continue to keep up with the most current hair cutting techniques and we have zero tolerance for letting someone leave our chairs without educating them on the best options for home care.

Marcy DiSalvo – Owner
Marcy has an eye for art, beauty, fashion and style. She studied fashion merchandising in college and later attended a hair academy in Boston which started her lifetime career in the beauty business. After working and owning a SaIon in Aspen for many years and taking care of clients from all over the globe, Marcy has evolved her passion for styling and cutting hair, and the many techniques of coloring hair, using the highest quality Italian color line. Tape in and Hand tied Extensions are also great options that I am trained in. I love coming to the salon everyday. The advanced technology in our hair care products gives us a way to prescribe and guide each of our guests for in salon and home hair care.
Emily Yinger
Professionally trained at the Aveda Institute, in Houston, Texas, Emily brings a unique and creative eye to M Salon. With over 10 years of experience and many educational classes, she has worked in several high end salons in both Colorado and Texas. Emily has always had a passion for hair and style, even saying she wanted to be a hairstylist at 4 yrs old. Along with her extensive experience with cut and color, Emily is also trained in Hand Tied Extensions. With an intuitive and collaborative spirit, Emily is able to really listen to her clients, taking what they imagine to co-create a look that truly expresses who they are as an individual. She is excited about cuts, colors and extensions, but has found a specific passion for blonding, using traditional and modern techniques. She believes strongly in self-expression and the importance of hair in that process. Emily is a strong advocate for human rights, and hopes to continue to expand a unique and diverse clientele.
